QUANTITY TAKEOFF'S
For a Quantity Takeoff / BOQ we use the architectural, structural drawings and specification documents you provide to quantify all the materials needed to complete the project. You can then apply your own material prices and labour rates for quoting and tendering purposes. We customise and tailor our takeoff to accommodate individual preferences and requirements. You are provided with an adjustable Excel sheet and marked up PDF plans/drawings.

CONSTRCUTION COST
ESTIMATES
Type 1: Budget Cost Estimate (SQM rates)
A basic construction cost estimate provides 4 costs total SQM costs for:

The overall costs for the build proposal or existing property

The overall labour costs

The overall materials costs

The overall plant costs
This cost estimate is based on the: Size, Type and Location of the build or existing building. You can also request the estimate be determined by the quality/standard of the build: Average, Quality and Prestige. This estimate suits: Developers; Builders; Insurers; Finance providers & New or Existing Homeowner Builders of both residential and commercial projects wanting to know the approximate cost of the build. This estimate can either be based on concept drawings, artist impressions, basic or limited information of the existing or future build. We have a set price for this estimate of $100 + GST for residential and $200 + GST for commercial.

Type 2: Construction Cost Estimate (Elemental)
An Elemental Construction Cost Estimate is Suited to developers, builders and contractors. This estimate type provides quantities and costs for either all the trades/categories involved in a project or just a specific trade/category. We require your detailed structural, architectural and specification documents. Every UOM captured as LM, M2, M3, etc, has itemised pricing for material, labour & plant with average wastage allowances incorporated. This Estimate is Ideal for clients who need to see and be able to adjust the labour, material and plant costs we allocate for each category (external walls, internal walls, windows & doors, etc). We use a constantly updating cost software package that ensures you get the most recent rates for material and labour for the type and location of the build. You can alter and adjust the figures as required based on your additional preferences or knowledge of a cost. You are provided with an adjustable Excel sheet and marked up PDF plans/drawings. Please note overheads, profit and preliminaries are subjective to each client and build type, so will be itemised but without cost allocation, this will need to be applied by yourself, based on your own preferences and company structure.

Type 3: Detailed Construction Cost Estimate (Fundamental)
In addition to the "Type 2 - Elemental" the Fundamental Detailed Construction Cost Estimate goes that step further and breaks down each category provided in the elemental estimate (external walls, internal walls, windows & doors, etc) further to provide more detail into the labour, material and plant quantities and costs involved (brick ties, door hardware, etc) essentially providing a priced material schedule. You are provided with an adjustable Excel sheet and marked up PDF plans/drawings. Please note overheads, profit and preliminaries are subjective to each client and build type, so will be itemised but without cost allocation, this will need to be applied by yourself, based on your own preferences and company structure.
